BY CAR FROM THE GARNOCK VALLEY VIA KILBIRNIE:

From Bridge Street, Kilbirnie –

Take 1st exit on roundabout onto School Wynd, heading towards Largs

Straight on towards the A760 Largs Road

Continue of the A760 for approximately 9 miles

The Crematorium is on your left hand side after Mills Dairy

BY CAR FROM LARGS / SKELMORLIE & INVERCLYDE:

From Largs Train Station, Main Street, Largs –
Head North on Main Street towards A78
Straight on through the roundabout following the A78
At the roundabout , take the 1st exit onto Irvine Road/A78
At the traffic lights, turn left onto Haylie Brae/A760
Continue to follow the A760 for approximately 3 miles
The Crematorium is on your right

BY CAR FROM LARGS / FAIRLIE & NORTH AYRSHIRE:

Enter Largs on A78 from Irvine
After Largs Golf Club, turn right at traffic lights onto Haylie Brae / A760
Continue to follow the A760 for approximately 3 miles
The Crematorium is on your right

BY BUS:

There is a bus stop directly outside the Crematorium Gates
McGills Buses run an hourly service between Largs and Paisley via the A760
Service Number 904 departs from Kilbirnie Cross heading to Largs at 20 minutes past the hour.
Service Number 904 departs from Bath Street, Largs, heading towards Paisley via Kilbirnie at 50 minutes past the hour.

BY TRAIN:

  • The nearest train station is Largs. Trains to Largs run hourly from Glasgow Central Station. There is a taxi rank directly outside the train station on Largs Main Street. Taxis at the station don’t need to be booked to bring you up to the crematorium, however you will need to book a return journey back to the station or onwards to where the funeral tea is taking place.
  • There is also a train station at Glengarnock. The McGills 904 bus stops directly outside Glengarnock train station for your onward journey to the crematorium.

BY PRIVATE TRANSFER:

Wentworth Travel based in Ayrshire has a 6-seater chauffer driven Mercedes V Class MPV which is available for private transfers to and from the crematorium. They can be contacted on 07763 697304 or execscotia@aol.com for a quote.
